MASTER PLAN  AND PRELIMINARY ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF AN ECOTOURISM CENTER  IN TETLAMA, MORELOS, MEXICO, FOR CDI AND MORELOS STATE SECRETARIAT OF TOURISM

For the National Commission for the Development of Indigenous Peoples (CDI) and the Morelos State Secretariat of Tourism , Arq. Ceballos-Lascuráin developed the master plan and architectural design of an Ecotourism Center in the indigenous locality of Tetlama, Municipality of Temixco, Morelos , comprising an ecolodge with 20 cabins, restaurant/kitchen, interpretive center, interpretive nature trails, and other facilities related to ecotourism. The lot, with an area of approximately 10 hectares, is located in a semi-dry tropical deciduous forest locality, contiguous to the Xochicalco Archaelogical Zone, which is a World Heritage Site. Arq. Ceballos-Lascuráin also acted as special consultant and supervisor during the first phase of construction (2007).
