Master plan and preliminary architectural design for Eco-resort and Spa in Kinabalu World Heritage Site, Sabah (Borneo), Malaysia,  for Mr. Albert Teo.

At the foot of Mount Kinabalu, the highest peak in Borneo and a World Heritage Site, the project for an exclusive Eco-resort and Spa in a site property of Mr. Albert Teo is under way. Mr. Ceballos-Lascurain is participating as a consultant in environmental architecture in the development of the master plan and design of this Eco-Resort, in association with Architect Yukio Hasegawa of Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The project, located in a plot of 31,000 sq m, includes ecotechniques such as solar energy water heaters, anaerobic septic tanks, natural cross ventilation, electric-powered vehicle paths, interpretive nature trails and native plant botanical garden.
